Product Testing Programs Worth Joining

Product testing programs send free products to members who give something back. Here they are grouped by what that something is, so you can skip the ones that don't fit.
Rules checked on each program's own site · Updated · 47 offers from these programs posted on TrySpree in the last 6 months

Just a survey or review, no social posts

The easiest to stick with. You fill out a profile, request what fits, and answer a short survey or review afterward.

PINCHme

New samples drop daily. You qualify for samples, fill a box of four, and it ships free. In return: A feedback survey within 30 days of receiving the box. Skipping it can get your account suspended.

The catch: Giving a phone number signs you up for marketing texts, and the site pushes an ads-and-surveys offerwall for points.

SampleSource

You fill out a profile and pick from samples that match it, or some are sent automatically. Drops happen in spring, summer and fall. In return: Rating the samples is encouraged.

The catch: No winter drops, first come first served, 4 to 6 weeks to arrive, one package per household. Sharing with partners is opt-in.

Daily Goodie Box

Boxes go out monthly to members, subject to availability. Shipping is free and no credit card is needed. In return: An honest review of the products, saying you got them free.

The catch: A box isn't guaranteed, and signing up means agreeing to email and text marketing.

Apply for each product, then review it

More full-size products, but you're picked from many applicants, so don't count on any one test.

BzzAgent

You get email invites to apply for campaigns. If you're picked, the product ships in 1 to 3 weeks. No reply means you weren't picked. In return: Everything in the campaign's posting instructions, such as reviews and surveys.

The catch: Invites aren't guaranteed, and your profile (including income) is used to target you.

Home Tester Club

You register interest in each open test and answer a few qualifying questions. Products arrive 1 to 3 weeks after you're picked. In return: A feedback survey and an honest review. Photos and videos are encouraged.

The catch: Millions of members compete for limited spots. Staying active earns points that help selection.

Post on social media or host a party

The biggest packs, often party kits for a group. Being active on social media helps you get picked.

Influenster

You use the app, and it matches you to product boxes (VoxBoxes). Some come through qualifying surveys, some are first come first served. In return: A review, photo or video, plus a follow-up survey.

The catch: Many programs require posting on Instagram or TikTok, and you must agree to share profile data with brands.

Ripple Street

You apply to events: host a party with a party pack, unbox a personal pack, get a coupon or gift card, or upload a receipt to be reimbursed. In return: Reviews and social posts tagged #sponsored.

The catch: They can ship you a package without asking (with 72 hours to opt out), and you grant them broad rights to your photos and posts.

Tryazon

You apply for party packs and boxes from partner brands. In return: Hosting a party or trying the box, and sharing about it.

Invite only

You can't apply. The retailer invites customers who already write helpful reviews.

Amazon Vine

Invited reviewers order items free from a large, daily-updated list. You can't apply; Amazon invites customers who write helpful reviews. In return: Honest reviews, which are labeled as reviews of a free product.

The catch: Invite only.

Walmart Recognized Reviewer Program

Invited reviewers claim up to three free items at a time from their Walmart account, with free shipping. In return: A detailed, honest review of each item before you can claim more.

The catch: You must give your Social Security number for a tax profile, and Walmart sends a Form 1099 above a threshold. No returns.

Brand sample forms run by SoPost

Many "request a free sample" forms from beauty and fragrance brands run on SoPost. There's nothing to join: you fill in the brand's form, one per person, and SoPost may email you for feedback about two weeks after it ships. A few campaigns ask you to chip in for delivery.

Programs that stopped

Sampler filed for bankruptcy in 2024, and Smiley360's site has been offline since at least October 2026. If a list still tells you to join them, it's out of date.

Questions

Which sample programs post the most offers on TrySpree?

In the last 6 months, TrySpree members posted 23 from Ripple Street, 19 from Tryazon, 4 from Home Tester Club, 1 from PINCHme.

Do I need a big social media following?

No for PINCHme, SampleSource, Daily Goodie Box, BzzAgent and Home Tester Club. Influenster and Tryazon weigh your social activity when picking testers, and Ripple Street asks for posts tagged #sponsored.

What does "via Ripple Street" mean on a TrySpree listing?

The offer opens on that program's site instead of the brand's own page, so you apply there with a free account. One-off brand samples on TrySpree only ask for your name and address.

Are product testing programs better than one-off free samples?

They send more full-size products, but you're picked, not guaranteed, and they want reviews or posts back. Brand sample forms send smaller samples to anyone who asks while they last. Doing both gets the most.

Want samples with no membership at all? See free samples without surveys, or browse beauty and perfume samples.
